Washer and dryer repair made easy by RepairClinic.com

With school back in full swing and cooler weather moving in, washer and dryer usage goes up in the fall. As a result, the number of washer and dryer failures goes up too. If you're having trouble with either, RepairClinic.com is here to help, and it's easier than you think. Don't believe us? Just check out these customers' success stories:

Finding the right washing machine part

When Linda Gadd's two-year-old washing machine broke down, she called for repair and was told she'd have to wait three weeks.

"My daughter has a baby," said Linda, "and she does all her laundry at our house, so a broken washing machine was a big problem."

Attempting to speed things up, Linda's husband Gregory took apart the washer and found that the drive block needed to be replaced. Linda called the repair service back in hopes of getting the part, but they didn't have it in stock.

"That's when I went online," said Linda. "I found RepairClinic.com right away. The site was very easy to use. I just described the part, and up came a photo of the exact part I needed."

Linda ordered the new drive block, received it a few days later, and Gregory made the repair in less than an hour.

"I'm sure we saved at least $100 by fixing the machine ourselves," said Linda. "Plus, we got it done in just a few days rather than weeks."

Quieting a noisy dryer

When Janice Mann's 13-year-old dryer started making terrible noises, her father and husband told her to just get a new dryer.

However, Mann thought a repair might be possible, and she set out to hire a repairman.

"I tried hiring a repairman a friend recommended," said Mann, "but my husband was out of town, and my schedule didn't allow me to wait for a service call."

Mann saw RepairClinic.com in the Yellow Pages and decided to give the website a shot.

"I discovered I needed to replace the dryer's rollers, belt and idler pulley," she said. "I ordered a kit that included all the parts I needed, and installed it, with some help from my 14-year-old son, a few days later."

The dryer's running smoothly again, and Mann is thrilled she didn't have to buy a new one.
