HOT-WATER-DISPENSER-ANSWERS-TO-COMMON-QUESTIONS
Hot-Water Dispenser
How does it make hot water?
A hot water dispenser is just a small hot water heater, much like the one that heats water for your household use. The biggest difference is that it heats to a much higher temperature and in smaller amounts.
Will it ever run out of hot water?
Yes. Most hot water dispensers provide just a few cups of hot water at a time. But they recover quickly.
Can the water burn me?
YES! The water dispensed by your hot water dispenser is extremely hot and burns on contact.
Is the water really hot enough for coffee, tea, and soup?
Yes. The water from these dispensers can be 190 degrees Fahrenheit. That's plenty hot for any coffee, hot chocolate, soup, and so on.
Is the water just like water heated in a kettle ?
Yes. It's the same as water heated to the same temperature on an electric stove in a kettle.
Does the water taste different than water heated in a kettle?
No. The water dispensed from your hot water dispenser is the same as ordinary, heated tap water. However, if you attach a water filter to the incoming water-supply line to the heater, the heated water is also filtered.
