Tip of the Month:
If any of your appliances experienced any “injuries” during this demanding time, go to RepairClinic.com and look for repair help, appliance parts —everything you need for the recovery process.
(If you experienced injuries, well…we can’t help you there!)

After a marathon, runners need to replenish their systems and experience a change of scenery…and so it is with you and your “holiday-weary” appliances. The holidays are like a marathon for them and for you—the greatest workout of the year!
1. To give yourself and your kitchen appliances a break, try one of these approaches:
a. Use your microwave more this month. Try some frozen dinners; they’ve come a long way—now there are some healthy and tasty varieties available.
b. Skip the meats and carbs and eat more salads; toss a few greens and veggies in a bowl and avoid the complicated cooking routine. What a refreshing change! Don’t you feel better already?
c. Cook outside on the grill. For those in the southern states, that’s easy, but for those in the north - just look at it as an adventure!
2. “De-holiday” your fridge, freezer, pantry - and everything else!
Use up, throw out, wash and store away anything that even resembles holiday; this is also a perfect time to freshen up your garbage disposer with a special cleanser available on our website. And, you can check the tines in your dishwasher rack for rust and wear - they can easily be replaced with new ones. Now, isn’t that better?
3. Here’s the best part: now that all signs of “holiday” are gone, sit back and relax – you have just survived another holiday marathon. Give yourself a break: read a book; have a cup of tea; get back to your favorite hobbies; cozy-up for a nap by the fire…you are officially in “Holiday Recovery” mode. Enjoy! |
