Brushroller
Remove carpet strings, hair, and other debris from the brushroller.
Bag/Tank
Replace vacuum bag or empty tank before it is completely full.
Filter
Replace the return air filter, if equipped, once a year. HEPA filters should be replaced every 6-8 months.
Canister
Empty canister before it is completely full; most canisters need to be emptied 2-3 times a year.
Filter or screen
Replace the filter, if equipped, once a year. If there is no filter, clean the screen each time the canister is emptied.
