Dryer drum drive belt. This belt is approximately 1/4" wide x 92-1/4" long. It is flat on one side and has 4 ribs and 3 grooves on the other. It replaces many other belts, including some with 5 ribs and 4 grooves. The belt attaches to the motor pulley and spins the drum as the motor rotates

The Dryer Repair & Maintenance Kit 4392065 includes rollers, a belt, and an idler pulley. It is specifically designed for 29 wide dryers built in 1965 or later. This kit addresses common issues that cause Whirlpool, Kenmore, Maytag, and KitchenAid dryers to become noisy.

Dryer thermal fuse. Opens at approximately 196°F (91°C). *If open check for air flow issues like plugged exhaust vent or damaged blower wheel

Dryer electric heating element assembly

Dryer drum support roller. If the dryer is making a rumbling or knocking noise the rollers may be worn out causing the drum not to turn smoothly.

Dryer heating element assembly. If the dryer does not heat the thermal fuse should be checked before replacing the heating element. Normally, the element will have a break in the coil if defective.

The Dryer Maintenance Kit 4392067 includes drum support rollers, a multi-rib belt, an idler pulley wheel, triangle clips, and a washer for a complete maintenance overhaul. If your Whirlpool, Kenmore, or Maytag dryer is making loud noises or the drum is not turning, it may be time for replacement.

Dryer idler pulley assembly. Includes bracket and pulley wheel

Dryer drum drive belt, 93 1/2 inches long, 4 ribs 3 grooves. The drive belt is a very long, slender belt that wraps all the way around the dryer drum, around a tension pulley, and then around the drive motor pulley. If the drum will not turn when the dryer is turned on the belt is likely broken.

Dryer door switch assembly. If the dryer does not start then the door switch could be defective. This switch also replaces the two wire switch.

Dryer drum support roller kit. Includes two washers. When the drum rollers are worn out, they can cause the dryer to make a loud rumbling noise. Both rollers should be replaced at the same time. The roller does not need lubrication, the bearing is self-lubricating.

Dryer gas burner valve solenoid set. If the dryer does not heat or heats intermittently the coils could be defective. To test, watch the burner and if the igniter glows for a while and then shuts off without the gas igniting, it usually means one of these coils is bad.

The drum support roller kit, 349241T. If the dryer is making a rumbling or knocking noise the rollers may be worn out causing the drum not to turn smoothly.

Door handle, white. Snaps in place

The Whirlpool Dryer Cycling Thermostat WP3387134, rated at L155-25, regulates the temperature within your dryer. Signs that the thermostat needs replacement include inconsistent drying temperatures or the dryer running excessively hot. The WP3387134 is compatible with various dryer models.
When your dryer stops heating, tumbles weakly, or makes noise, the fix is usually one of these high-failure parts. Thermal fuses, heating elements, and drive belts account for the vast majority of dryer repairs -- and they're all straightforward replacements with the right OEM part.
Every dryer brand -- Whirlpool, Samsung, LG, GE, Maytag, Frigidaire -- shares the same basic repair patterns. Find your model number on the back or inside the door frame, and you'll get the exact part your dryer needs.

The thermal fuse is the #1 dryer failure. It's a one-time safety device that blows when the dryer overheats -- usually because the vent is blocked with lint. When it blows, the dryer stops producing heat but the motor still runs. It's a $5 -- 15 part and a 10-minute fix. Always check your vent for blockage before replacing the fuse; if the vent is clear, the fuse blew for a reason (failed thermostat or restricted airflow inside the dryer).
The model number is printed on a label on the back of the dryer, or inside the door frame near the hinge. It usually starts with letters (like WED, DV, DLHC) followed by numbers. Write it down or take a photo -- you'll need it to order the correct thermal fuse, heating element, belt, or any other part. Different model years and configurations use different parts, so the model number is your help ensure of the right fit.
If you hear rhythmic thumping or squealing during the tumble cycle, the drum rollers are wearing out. They're cheap ($10 -- 30 each) and very common on Whirlpool, Samsung, and LG dryers. Replace both sides at the same time, even if only one is obviously worn -- they're wearing together, and replacing just one will leave you back here in a few months. The idler pulley (which tensioners the belt) also wears at the same time; many technicians replace it together with the rollers.
The heating element itself is an independent component -- if it's burned out (look for a visible break or black spot in the coil), replacing just the element can help resolve the "no heat" problem. However, if the element failed prematurely (before 10+ years), check the vent for blockage and verify the thermostats are working. A restricted vent or failed thermostats can overheat and kill a brand-new heating element within months. Always troubleshoot the cause, not just the symptom.
