Honda air cleaner (or air filter). If the air filter is clogged or dirty, the engine may not start or may run rough.
Lawn mower discharge chute. Installing this chute will keep the mulch cover open to discharge the clippings out the side of the mower.
Grass bag frame. If the grass bag is dragging on the ground, or the frame will not stay in position it may be broken or bent and will need to be replaced.
MTD Spark Plug. The spark plug ignites the fuel and air mixture in the cylinder to power the engine. If the spark plug is burnt, fouled or damaged the engine may not start or may run rough.
Hinged mulch plug (or cover) for lawn mower. Note: Mounting screw is not pre threadded. You need to use the original self tapping screw or purchase a new screw in the recommended parts below.
Lawn mower blade adapter. 25mm. If the lawn mower's blade isn't engaging properly, the blade adapter may be stripped. If the blade adapter is stripped, replace it.
Lower handle bar. There are two sets of holes in the bar. The one closest to the flat end is used for shipping. You will use the mounting hole furthest away for normal use.
Total length is 53 inches. Conduit length is 40 inches. MTD has updated this part. It is now manufactured with a hook on the upper end. This replaces the old clamp style. If the control cable is broken, the lawn mower's self-propel feature won't work.
