Dryer heating element. If your dryer does not heat first check for a blown thermal fuse on the blower housing before replacing the heating element. In most cases the heating element will have a break in the element if defective. *May need wire connector to install heating element.
Dryer gas burner valve solenoid set. If the dryer does not heat or heats intermittently the coils could be defective. To test, watch the burner and if the igniter glows for a while and then shuts off without the gas igniting, it usually means one of these coils is bad.
Dryer cycling thermostat with internal bias heater, L155-25. If the dryer won't heat, it is unlikely that this thermostat is causing the issue, as the thermal fuse or thermal cut-out normally fail first.
Dryer lint screen assembly. Proper air flow is critical to dryer operation so the filter should be cleaned before every load.
Dryer blower wheel. Used on 29 inch Whirlpool built models with lint filter on top. To remove the blower wheel, unscrew the blower wheel clockwise off the motor shaft.

High-limit thermostat, 2 wire, 250 degree limit, 60 degree cool down before reset. The high-limit thermostat cuts off power to the dryer if it overheats. If the thermostat has tripped, the dryer will not heat. To determine if the thermostat is defective, use a multimeter to test it for continuity.
