Champion Spark Plug (RC12YC). The spark plug ignites the fuel and air mixture in the cylinder to power the engine. If the spark plug is burnt, fouled or damaged the engine may not start or may run rough.
Briggs and Strartton in-line fuel filter with 40 micron rating and 1/4" inlet & outlet. If the engine does not start then the fuel filter may be clogged and not allowing enough fuel to enter the carburetor.
Briggs & Stratton starter gear (also called a pinion gear), 16-tooth, plastic. The starter gear engages the flyhweel to start the engine. If the teeth on the starter gear are worn out, the engine may not start.
Spark plug wrench designed to fit Briggs & Stratton Over Head Valve engines. Combination 13/16" on one end and 5/8" on the other.
Ignition coil (or magneto armature). The ignition coil sends voltage to the spark plug while the engine is running. If the ignition coil is defective, the engine may not start.
Briggs & Stratton voltage regulator. The voltage regulator sends the proper amount of voltage from the alternator to the battery to keep the battery charged. If the voltage regulator is defective, the battery may keep draining quickly.
