Dryer thermal fuse located on the blower housing. If the dryer overheats, the thermal fuse blows cutting off power to the motor or the heating system. When the fuse is bad the dryer won't start or will run but not heat. The thermal fuse cannot be reset. Fuses often blow due to a clogged dryer vent.
Dryer drum support roller. If the dryer is making a rumbling or knocking noise the rollers may be worn out causing the drum not to turn smoothly.
Dryer door switch assembly. If the dryer does not start then the door switch could be defective. This switch also replaces the two wire switch.
Dryer drum drive belt, 93 1/2 inches long, 4 ribs 3 grooves. The drive belt is a very long, slender belt that wraps all the way around the dryer drum, around a tension pulley, and then around the drive motor pulley. If the drum will not turn when the dryer is turned on the belt is likely broken.
Washer drive motor coupler. New style with metal sleeves for added strength. This version replaces all previous motor coupler styles and versions. For direct drive washing machines. Common symptom of failed coupler is washer will fill, not agitate or spin but will drain the water from the tub.
Dryer door catch kit. This kit includes three different door catches; you will need to select the door catch that fits your model.
Dryer cycling thermostat with internal bias heater, L155-25. If the dryer won't heat, it is unlikely that this thermostat is causing the issue, as the thermal fuse or thermal cut-out normally fail first.
Washing machine clutch assembly with hardware. *Blue spring for regular, large, extra and super capacity washers, black for compact models. A worn clutch often causes a slower spin speed which leaves the clothes soaked after the cycle.
Washing machine suspension spring. If the suspension spring is broken, the washer will be off balance.
Dryer idler pulley. The idler pulley puts tension on the drive belt. If the idler pulley fails to put the proper amount of tension on the belt, the dryer will not spin.
White touch-up paint. .6 oz.
Outer grille
Dryer tri-ring retainer for drum support rollers.
Transmission (gearbox) for direct-drive washing machines. If the gears inside the transmission are worn out, the washer may not spin.
Heating element thermal cut-off (thermal fuse) 360 degrees and high-limit thermostat 250 degrees. The thermal fuse is a safety device designed to protect the dryer from overheating. A multimeter can be used to test the fuse. Always check the dryer venting when replacing a blown thermal fuse.
