Briggs & Stratton in-line fuel filter. The filter screen is on the large side of the housing. The port on the large side goes to the fuel tank while the port on the small side of the housing goes to the carburetor.
Briggs & Stratton flywheel key. The flywheel key aligns the flywheel in the correct position on the crankshaft. If the engine stops suddenly due to hitting a hard object, the flywheel key shears in half to prevent damage to the engine. If the flywheel key is broken, the engine won't start.
Briggs & Stratton starter gear (also called a pinion gear), 16-tooth, plastic. The starter gear engages the flyhweel to start the engine. If the teeth on the starter gear are worn out, the engine may not start.
Carburetor float bowl. If the carburetor is leaking, one of the float bowl gaskets may be worn out.
Ignition coil (or magneto armature). The ignition coil sends voltage to the spark plug while the engine is running. If the ignition coil is defective, the engine may not start.
Fuel pump with instructions, hose and clamps. This assembly replaces the old style fuel pump. The previous fuel pump is no longer manufactured. Relocation and modifications to the fuel line may be required.
