Dryer thermal fuse located on the blower housing. If the dryer overheats, the thermal fuse blows cutting off power to the motor or the heating system. When the fuse is bad the dryer won't start or will run but not heat. The thermal fuse cannot be reset. Fuses often blow due to a clogged dryer vent.
Dryer drum drive belt. The belt is flat, 92-1/4 inches long, 1/4 inch wide and has 4 ribs and 3 grooves. It replaces many other belts, including some with 5 ribs and 4 grooves. If the drum does not turn, but you can hear the motor running then there is a good chance the belt has broken.
Dryer heating element. If your dryer does not heat first check for a blown thermal fuse on the blower housing before replacing the heating element. In most cases the heating element will have a break in the element if defective. *May need wire connector to install heating element.
Dryer heating element thermal cut-off (thermal fuse) 309 degrees and high limit thermostat 250 degrees, with wiring kit. If the dryer does not heat the thermal cut off may have blown and a new high limit thermostat is needed.
Dryer door switch assembly. If the dryer does not start then the door switch could be defective. This switch also replaces the two wire switch.
Rear drum support roller kit. This kit contains two drum support rollers. If the drum rollers are worn out, the dryer may not turn properly or may be excessively noisy. Be aware that the drum bearings are self-lubricating; it is not necessary to lubricate them yourself.
Dryer door catch kit. This kit includes three different door catches; you will need to select the door catch that fits your model.
Dryer cycling thermostat with internal bias heater, L155-25. If the dryer won't heat, it is unlikely that this thermostat is causing the issue, as the thermal fuse or thermal cut-out normally fail first.
Dryer drum drive motor. Includes pulley for dryer drum drive belt. Other shaft has reverse threads for blower wheel. Common symptoms of a bad drive motor are:
-Dryer stops turning during cycle
-Dryer won't start
-Dryer won't turn at all
-Dryer drive motor is loud
Dryer belt tension idler pulley assembly. When the idler pulley goes bad it will usually make a high pitch squeeling or rattling noise.
Dryer high-limit thermostat, L250-80, with terminal extension arm. This thermostat should be closed for continuity at room temperature and opens at around 250 degrees Fahrenheit. If the dryer won't heat, the high-limit thermostat might be defective.
White touch-up paint. .6 oz.
Dryer blower wheel. Used on 29 inch Whirlpool built models with lint filter on top. To remove the blower wheel, unscrew the blower wheel clockwise off the motor shaft.
Dryer tri-ring retainer for drum support rollers.
Dryer drum rear felt seal kit with adhesive.
