High-limit thermostat for dryer. L315-65. If the dryer overheats, this high-limit thermostat will cut off the power to the heating element. If the high-limit thermostat has blown, the dryer won't heat.
Dryer blower wheel. The blower wheel draws air through the dryer and pushes the air out the vent. Clumps of lint, socks, and small articles of clothing can escape the lint filter and get caught in the blower wheel. If an object is caught in the blower wheel, the dryer may make noise.
Dryer heating element assembly. If the dryer won't heat, first check the thermal fuse to determine if has blown. If the thermal fuse has not blown, the heating element might be defective. The heating element will often have a break in the coil if it is defective.
