Dryer drive belt. The belt has a length of 91 5/8” and width 5/16”. The belt has 5 ridges. If the dryer drum won’t rotate, but the motor is running then the belt has likely broken.
Idler pulley wheel and bearing. If the idler pulley wheel and/or bearing is defective, it may cause the dryer to be excessively noisy.
Three terminal door switch kit. Be aware that this switch replaces older 2 terminal switches.
Dryer drum drive motor. Includes pulley for dryer drum drive belt. Other shaft is D shaped with two slots for blower wheel snap rings. Common symptoms of a bad drive motor are:
-Dryer stops turning during cycle
-Dryer won't start
-Dryer won't turn at all
Dryer thermal fuse. Located on the blower housing. If the dryer overheats, this high-limit thermostat will cut off the power to the heating element. If the high-limit thermostat has blown, the dryer will not heat.
Dryer thermal fuse. Located on the blower housing. If the dryer overheats, the thermal fuse blows to cut off power to the dryer. If the thermal fuse has blown, the dryer won't start. The thermal fuse cannot be reset—if the fuse has blown, replace it. Thermal fuses often blow due to a clogged vent.
