Honda air cleaner (or air filter). If the air filter is clogged or dirty, the engine may not start or may run rough.
NGK spark plug. The spark plug ignites the fuel and air mixture in the cylinder to power the engine. If the spark plug is burnt, fouled or damaged the engine may not start or may run rough.
Lawn mower ratchet key. The ratchet key engages the drive shaft to the drive gear to turn the wheel. A small spring keeps tention on the key. If the key is not engaging the gear it may be worn and will need to be replaced. It is a good idea to also check the spring and replace it if necessary.
Lawn mower ratchet return spring. Helps allow drive wheel to move backwards when forward drive is not engaged
Lawn mower air cleaner cover. If this cover is cracked, or if one of its holding tabs is broken, replace it.
Carburetor gasket. If this gasket is torn or damaged, the engine may run rough. Be sure to clean the surfaces around the carburetor gasket before installing it.
Small engine governor spring. If the engine does not maintain a consistent speed, then the governor spring may be stretched out or damaged.
Honda recoil starter assembly. The recoil starter engages the drive cup on the flywheel to start the engine. If the recoil starter is defective, the engine may not start.
Small engine carburetor gasket. If the gasket is torn or damaged the engine may run rough.
Honda Carburetor (BB62W B). If the carburetor is clogged, the engine won't get enough fuel. As a result, the engine may not start or may run rough. The carburetor can often be cleaned or rebuilt, but sometimes it may need to be replaced.
