To replace the humidifier transformer first turn off the power to the furnace.

Next, rotate the knobs securing the blower chamber panel on the furnace and pull the panel off.

Now loosen the screws to release the low voltage wires from the transformer.

Remove the wire nuts to disconnect the high voltage wires

Use a flathead screwdriver to help remove the strain relief nut then pull the old transformer out of the mounting plate.

Install the new transformer by inserting the wires and strain relief through the hole in the mounting plate.

Secure the transformer by threading and tightening the strain relief nut.

Matching the colors, connect the two pairs of wires using the wire nuts.

Attach the low voltage wires to the new transformer and tighten the screws to secure.

Reposition the blower chamber panel and rotate the knobs to secure.
