Step By Step Instructions

To replace the flame sensor on your furnace first shut off the power to the furnace.

Next, rotate the knobs securing the combustion chamber panel and pull the panel off.

Now disconnect the wire from the old flame sensor.

Remove the mounting screw and pull the old sensor out.

Install the new flame sensor by inserting it into the burner housing.

Secure it with the mounting screw and connect the wire to the new sensor.
7
Reposition the combustion chamber panel and rotate the knobs to secure.

You’re now ready to restore power to the furnace and confirm that it’s functioning properly.
