To replace the freezer compartment door switch in your refrigerator first use a flathead screwdriver to help pry the old door switch out of the liner.

Note the orientation of the wires then disconnect them from the switch.

Install the new door switch by connecting the wires to the appropriate terminals.

Position the new switch on the liner and snap it into place.

You’re now ready to plug the power cord back in and confirm that the switch is working properly.
