As with any appliance repair, you should unplug the power cord before beginning.

To replace the oven igniter in your range first slide out the broiler drawer and set it aside.

Next, reach into the cabinet and remove the screw to release the oven valve shield.

Now loosen the screw securing the wire cover and slide the cover out of the way.

Disconnect the gas valve wires.

Now pull the igniter wire connecter through the hole and depress the tabs to disconnect the wire connecter.

Uninstall the screws securing the igniter to the burner and remove the old igniter.

Install the new oven igniter by positioning it on the burner and securing it with the screws.

Connect the wire connecter and push the connecter through the hole.

Reconnect the gas valve wires.

Reposition the wire cover and tighten the screw to secure.

Realign the oven valve shield and secure it with the screw.

Replace the broiler drawer by aligning the drawer rails with the tracks on the base and sliding the drawer into position.
