Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, be sure to turn off the power to your dishwasher before beginning.

To make replacing the pump and motor assembly easier, we recommend removing the outer door panel, although this is not necessary for the replacement.

To do this, remove the screws from the inner door panel securing the outer panel.

With the screws removed, pull the panel down then lift it up and out.

Open the door and remove the lower dish rack.

Now rotate the lower wash arm retaining nut counter-clockwise to release the lower wash arm.

Next, pull out the upper rack and depress the tabs to release the front rack stops from the upper dish rack rails.

You can now slide the upper dish rack out.

Remove the screw to release the upper spray tube and pull the tube out of the sump housing.

Lift out both the fine filter and the coarse filter.

Now rotate the lower access panel fasteners counter-clockwise to remove then pull out the access panel and sound dampening pad.

Use pliers to release the retaining clamp securing the drain loop hose to the sump and pull the hose off.

Disconnect the wire connecter from the drain pump.

Now depress the tab and rotate the pump counter-clockwise to remove.

Rotate the turbidity sensor counter-clockwise to detach it from the sump assembly.

Release the wires from the retaining clip.

Rotate the sump retainers out of the way.

Now push the pump and motor assembly up to release it from the bottom of the tank.

Open the dishwasher door disconnect the wire from the circulation pump motor and remove the old assembly.

You’re now ready to install the new pump and motor assembly.

Apply some liquid dish soap or rinse aid to the seal.

Connect the wire to the new circulation pump motor.

Align the new assembly with the dishwasher base and push it firmly into place.

Close the dishwasher door, reach under the dishwasher and rotate the sump retainers to secure the new assembly.

Align the tabs on the turbidity sensor with the slots in the sump assembly and rotate the sensor clockwise to lock it into place.

Secure the wires under the retaining clip.

Insert the drain pump into the sump housing and rotate it clockwise to lock it into place.

Reconnect the wire connecter to the pump.

Attach the drain loop hose to the sump and secure it with the retaining clamp.

Open the dishwasher door and replace both the coarse and fine filters.

Insert the upper spray tube into the sump housing then align it on the rear panel and secure it with the screw.

Replace the lower wash arm by inserting the retaining nut into the support and rotate clockwise to secure it.

Replace the lower dish rack.

Align the upper dish rack on the rails and snap the front rack stops into place.

Reinstall the outer door panel by first aligning it on the door hinges then slide the panel up and reinstall the screws in the inner panel to secure.

You can now restore power to the dishwasher and check for leaks.

Complete the reassembly by replacing the lower access panel and sound dampening pad and securing the panel with the fasteners.
