Step By Step Instructions

To replace the filter on your humidifier first turn off the power to the furnace.

Push the humidifier cover down to release the tabs then pull the cover off.

Next, pull the duct side of the drum shaft out of the bushing to remove the filter assembly.

Now depress the spring retainer to release it from the shaft.

Pull off the open drum frame and remove the old filter.

You’re now ready to install the new filter.

Align the new filter on the closed drum frame and slide the open drum frame onto the shaft.

Secure it with the spring retainer.

Reinstall the filter assembly by inserting the drive side of the shaft into the motor bushing then snap the opposite end of the shaft into the duct bushing.

Replace the cover by inserting the tabs into the slots in the housing then lower the cover and pull it into position.

You’re now ready to restore power to the furnace and confirm that the humidifier is working properly.
