Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the fuel tank on your leaf blower first make sure the engine has cooled and there is no fuel left in the tank.

Next, remove the wire and boot from the spark plug.

Use a t-25 torx bit screwdriver to unthread the mounting screws securing the recoil starter.

Pull the starter free.

Now rotate the air filter cover mounting screw counter-clockwise to release the cover.

Use pliers to detach the gas tank fuel lines from the primer bulb and the carburetor – be prepared for some fuel to spill.

Now remove the mounting screws securing the fuel tank and pull the old tank off.

Install the new fuel tank by positioning it on the blower housing.

Attach the fuel lines to the primer bulb and the carburetor.

Rethread and tighten the mounting screws to secure the fuel tank.

Make sure the air filter is in place then realign the cover and rotate the mounting screw clockwise to secure.

Reinstall the recoil starter by aligning it on the starter housing.

Then rethread the mounting screws.

Make sure the grounding tab is secured under the lower right mounting screw if applicable.
15
Reattach the wire and boot to the spark plug fill the new tank with fuel and your leaf blower should be ready for use.
