Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the fuel filter on your leaf blower first make sure the engine has cooled and there is little or no fuel left in the tank.

Next, remove the wire and boot from the spark plug to prevent the engine from accidentally starting.

Unthread the fuel tank cap.

Use a screwdriver to pull out the fuel line and filter from the tank.

Release the retaining clamp and pull the old filter off of the fuel line.

Install the new fuel filter by attaching it to the fuel line then reposition the retaining clamp to secure.

Feed the new filter and fuel line into the tank.

Replace the fuel tank cap.

Now tip the leaf blower downward and gently shake to confirm the fuel filter is positioned near the bottom of the tank.

Reattach the wire and boot to the spark plug fill the tank with fuel and your leaf blower should be ready for use.
