As with any repair, be sure to unplug the appliance before beginning

Turn off the hot water supply.

To replace the hot water inlet valve in your washer, first detach the hot water supply line from the valve – be prepared for some water to spill out.

Now remove the screws at the back securing the top panel

Slide the panel back and lift it off.

Next, disconnect the wire harness from the valve.

Remove the screws securing the valve.

Pull the valve out of the rear wall of the cabinet.

Use pliers to release the retaining clamp and pull the hose off of the old valve.

Install the new hot water inlet valve by first sliding the hose onto the outlet port and securing the retaining clamp.

Now insert the valve through the hole in the rear wall of the cabinet and replace the mounting screws to secure.

Connect the wire harness to the new valve.

Reposition the top panel by aligning the edge of the panel with the tabs on the support bracket then push forward.

Replace the screws in the back.

Attach the hot water supply line to the new valve.

With the repair completed, turn the water supply back on plug the power cord back in and your washer should be ready for use.
