Step By Step Instructions

To replace the main control board in your washer, first remove the screws securing the rear panel.

Now shift the panel up and pull it out from the bottom to remove.

Next, remove the mounting screws securing the control board housing.

Slide the housing to the left to detach it from the cabinet.

Remove the top cover.

You’re now ready to install the new main control board.

First, disconnect the transformer wire connecter from the old board and remove the mounting screw securing the transformer.

Position the transformer on the new control board housing and secure it with the screw.

Connect the wire connecter to the new board.

Now transfer the remaining wire connecters from the old board to the new one.

With all of the wires in place, position the wire harness in the groove in the housing.

Snap on the cover.

Position the housing by inserting the tabs into the cabinet slots then slide the housing to the right.

Replace the mounting screws to secure.

Reinstall the rear panel by inserting the upper tabs into the slots then align the lower tabs and push the panel down.

Replace the screws.

With the repair completed, plug the power cord back in and your washer should be ready for use.
