Step-By-Step Instructions1
Before you replace the gas tank on your hedge trimmer first make sure the engine has cooled and that there is no fuel left in the tank.

Next, remove the wire and boot from the spark plug.

Now depress the tab to release the air filter cover.

Note the orientation of the fuel lines attached to the carburetor then detach the lines – be prepared for some fuel to spill out.

Use a t-25 torx bit screwdriver to remove the mounting screws securing the gas tank.

Install the new gas tank by aligning it on the engine ..then replace the mounting screws to secure.

Attach the new fuel lines to the appropriate ports on the carburetor.

Realign the filter cover and snap it into place.

Reattach the wire and boot to the spark plug fill the tank with fuel and your hedge trimmer should be ready for use.
