Step By Step Instructions

To replace the lower pressure switch in your furnace first shut off the power to the furnace.

Next, rotate the knobs securing the combustion chamber panel and pull the panel off.

Now disconnect the pressure switch wires.

Detach the vacuum tube.

Use a small phillips-head screwdriver to remove the pressure switch mounting screw and pull the old switch off.

Install the new pressure switch by aligning it on the draft inducer housing then replace the mounting screw to secure.

Attach the vacuum tube and connect the wires.

Reposition the combustion chamber panel and rotate the knobs to secure.

With the repair completed, turn the power back on and your furnace should be ready for use.
