Tools needed: Phillips head screwdriver, 14” nut driver

Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, be sure you unplug the appliance before beginning.

Your first step is to open the oven door and remove the screws securing the main top.

Once the screws are removed, close the oven door and lift the main top up.

Use a sturdy object to support it.

Release the burner by removing the screws securing the cross brace to the main top.

The burner is held in place by two brackets.

Note which slots in the base the bracket tabs are inserted into.

Now, use pliers to squeeze the bracket tabs to detach the old burner from the brace.

Install the new burner by first transferring the brackets from the old component to the new one.

Be sure to align the brackets with the correct numbered hole.

Now, transfer the wires from the old burner to the new one.

Align the bracket tabs with the appropriate slots and snap the new burner into the cross brace.

Position the assembly against the main top and secure with the screws.

Remove the support and lower the main top.

Secure the main top by reinstalling the screws.

You’re now ready to plug the appliance back in to make sure it’s functioning properly.
