Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the blower assembly on your water heater unplug the power cord

Shut off the gas supply.

Use a flathead screwdriver to loosen the band clamp to release the exhaust pipe from the blower assembly.

Now use a phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws securing the assembly to the tank.

Disconnect the wire harness and lift off the old blower assembly.

Install the new blower assembly by positioning it on top of the tank.

Replace the screws to secure the assembly.

Remember to secure the grounding wire and the plastic wire retainer as well.

Connect the wire harness to the new blower.

Position the exhaust pipe in the outlet port and tighten the band clamp to secure.

Turn the gas supply back on plug the power cord back in and your water heater should be ready for use.
