Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the pressure switch in your water heater unplug the power cord

Shut off the gas supply.

Next, disconnect the blower assembly wire harness.

Use a quarter-inch socket to remove the screw securing the control housing cover.

Pull off the cover and move it out of the way.

Disconnect the wires from the pressure switch and detach the pressure hose.

Now remove the mounting screws to release the old switch.

Install the new pressure switch by aligning it in the control housing then replace the mounting screws to secure.

Attach the pressure hose to the new switch and connect the wires to the terminals.

Reposition the control housing cover and replace the screw to secure it.

Reconnect the wire harness.

Turn the gas supply back on plug the power cord back in and your water heater should be ready for use.
