Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, be sure you unplug the appliance before beginning.

If your inner oven door glass has broken, your first step is to carefully remove any glass fragments from the inside of the door.

When the majority of the broken glass has been removed, flip both hinge locks down.

Now lift the door up and out.

Remove the two door handle screws as well as the screws along the bottom which secure the outer door glass and frame.

Now separate the inner door panel from the outer frame.

Once separated, remove the screws to detach the hinges.

Remove the screws securing the glass frame retainer panel and lift out the frame.

Carefully remove any remaining glass fragments and lift out the glass frame itself.

You’re now ready to install the new door glass.

Carefully place the glass into the inner door panel opening and reinsert the glass frame.

Align the retainer panel and secure it with the screws.

Be sure to alternate sides when installing the screws and be careful not to over-tighten.

Reinsert the hinges and screws.

Realign the outer frame with the inner door panel and reinsert the screws along the bottom.

Reattach the door handle screws.

Align the hinge hooks with the holes in the cabinet to reinstall the door and push the hinge locks back into place.

Close the oven door and plug the appliance back in.
