As with any repair, be sure you unplug the appliance before beginning.

Allow sufficient time for the stove to cool.

Your first step is to pull off the burner grate and lift off the burner cap.

If still intact, remove the old sealed burner base.
5
Install the new sealed burner base by lining up the electrode with the slot or hole in the base.
6
Replace the burner cap and grate.
7
You’re now ready to plug the appliance back in to make sure it’s functioning properly.
