Before you replace the fan guard on your leaf blower make sure the engine has cooled and the on-off switch is in the “off” position.

Use a large flat-head screwdriver to depress the fan guard retaining tabs as you insert a second screwdriver through the grill to assist in prying the old guard off.

Install the new fan guard by aligning it on the blower cover and snapping it into place.
