Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, be sure you unplug the appliance before beginning.

First, remove the oven racks.

Your next step is to remove the mounting screw to detach the heat shield.

Now, remove the mounting screws securing the old electrode.

Detach the wire connector and remove the old electrode.

Be aware that if you are unable to easily reach the wires you may need to remove the back panel to access them.

Install the new electrode by attaching the wire connector then insert into the hole in the oven cavity.

Secure the mounting screws.

Replace the heat shield and screw.

Replace the back panel if necessary.

Replace the oven racks and plug the appliance back in to make sure it’s functioning properly.
