Your first step is to remove the back panel or panels

Next, remove the mounting screws and detach the old latch motor from the connecting rod.

Install the new door latch motor

By placing it onto the connecting rod then secure it with the mounting screws.

Next, transfer the wires from the old component to the new one.

Replace the back panel or panels and plug the appliance back in to make sure it’s functioning properly.
