Step-By-Step Instructions1
To replace the control board in your furnace first turn off the power to the furnace.

To reach the board, you will need to remove both access panels.

Slide the upper panel up to detach followed by the lower panel.

Note the orientation of the wires connected to the control board then disconnect them.

Use needle-nose pliers to depress the tabs to release the old board from the mounting pins. You’re now ready to install the new control board.

Align the board on the mounting pins and snap it into place.

Connect the wires to the appropriate terminals on the new board.

Reinstall the lower access panel first followed by the upper panel.

With the repair completed, turn the power back on and your furnace should be ready for use.
