Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the power cord on your range make sure the old cord is unplugged.

Now use a phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the screws securing the lower rear access panel.

With the screws unthreaded, lift the panel up to remove.

Next, remove the two screws securing the wire retainer.

Pry the retainer apart and pull the wires free.

Now remove the screw securing the grounding wire.

Disconnect the wire connecter to fully remove the old power cord.

Install the new power cord by first connecting the wire connecter.

Secure the grounding wire to the frame.

Align the wires in the retainer then secure the retainer with the screws.

Align the power cord strain relief on the access panel and reposition the panel.

Replace the screws to secure.

Remember to secure the power cord retainer as well.

With the repair completed plug the new power cord in and your range should be ready for use.
