Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the door lock motor assembly in your range first unplug the power cord.

Now use a phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the screws securing the lower rear access panel.

With the screws unthreaded, lift the panel up to remove.

Disconnect the wires from the door lock motor and switch.

You will need to release the locking tabs to disconnect the motor wires.

Now unthread the mounting screws securing the door lock motor assembly.

Detach the old assembly from the actuator rod.

You’re now ready to install the new door lock motor assembly.

Insert the z-end of the actuator rod into the hole in the cam as you align the new assembly.

Replace the screws to secure.

Connect the wires to the new motor and switch.

Align the power cord strain relief on the access panel and reposition the panel.

Replace the screws to secure.

Remember to secure the power cord retainer as well.

With the repair completed plug the power cord back in and your range should be ready for use.
