Before you replace the detergent dispenser cover in your dishwasher be sure to turn off the power to the appliance.

Use a phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the screws securing the inner panel to the door frame.

Pull out the retaining pin and use needle-nose pliers to depress the tabs to detach the dispenser lever and cover.

Prepare the new detergent dispenser cover for installation by inserting the lever.

Make sure the actuator arm and spring are intact on the inner panel.

Keeping the lever aligned on the new cover, insert the lever through the panel and snap it into place in the actuator arm.

Insert the retaining pin to secure the lever.

Now realign the panel in the door frame and rethread the screws to secure.

Turn the power supply back on and your dishwasher should be ready for use.
