Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the pressure switch assembly in your furnace first turn off the power to the furnace

Shut off the gas supply.

Use a flat-head screwdriver to unthread the screws securing the upper access panel and remove the panel.

Next, unthread the screws to release the lower access panel.

Note the location of the two pressure hoses then pull them off of the pressure switches.

Note the orientation of the wires then disconnect them from the switches.

Disconnect the jumper wire as well.

Next, remove the screws securing the pressure switch mounting bracket.

Remove the bracket.

Install the new pressure switch assembly by aligning the mounting bracket on the support rail then replace the screws to secure.

Connect the wires to the appropriate terminals on the new switches.

Connect the jumper wire as well.

Attach the hoses to the appropriate ports.

Realign the lower access panel and rethread the screws.

Realign the upper access panel and secure it with the screws.

With the repair completed, turn the gas supply back on as well as the power and your furnace should be ready for use.
