Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the door handle on your dishwasher be sure to turn off the power to the appliance.

Use a t-20 torx bit screwdriver to remove the screws securing the inner door panel to the outer panel.

Loosen the door latch mounting screws.

Separate the door panels.

Use a 7/16th inch socket to unthread the door handle mounting nuts.

Remove the backing plates and pull the old handle free.

Install the new door handle by aligning the handle on the outer door panel with the beveled side facing down.

Realign the backing plates then thread and tighten the mounting nuts to secure.

With the new handle in place, reinstall the outer door panel by aligning it on the control panel.

Rethread the screws to secure the inner door panel to the outer panel.

The longer screws go at the top.

Tighten the door latch mounting screws.

With the repair completed turn the power supply back on and your dishwasher should be ready for use.
