Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace a rollout switch in your furnace first turn off the power to the furnace.

Unthread the retaining knobs securing the upper access panel and remove the panel.

Disconnect the wires from the switch you’re replacing.

Now use a quarter inch socket or nut driver to unthread the mounting screws securing the switch.

Lift off the old switch.

Install the new rollout switch by positioning it in the notch on the burner housing.

Thread and tighten the screws to secure.

Connect the wires.

Replace the upper access panel by aligning the top edge first then thread the retaining knobs to secure.

With the repair completed turn the power back on and your furnace should be ready for use.
