Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the limit switch in your furnace first turn off the power to the furnace.

Unthread the retaining knobs securing the upper access panel and remove the panel.

Detach the limit switch wires.

Now use a quarter inch socket or nut driver to unthread the mounting screws to release the old switch.

Install the new limit switch by aligning it on the plenum.

Thread and tighten the mounting screws to secure.

Connect the wires.

Replace the upper access panel by aligning the top edge first then thread the retaining knobs to secure.

With the repair completed turn the power back on and your furnace should be ready for use.
