To replace the lower wash arm nut in your dishwasher open the dishwasher door and fully remove the lower dish rack.

Rotate the mounting nut clockwise to release the wash arm assembly.

You can now use channel-lock pliers to help unthread the axle connecter.

With the connecter removed, you can slide off the old nut.

Install the new lower wash arm nut by sliding it onto the connecter then thread the connecter into the base fitting.

Now position the wash arm assembly on the axle connecter and rotate the nut counter-clockwise to secure.

Replace the lower dish rack and your dishwasher should be ready for use.
