Step By Step Instructions

Before you begin the repair, make sure the mower’s engine has cooled and remove the wire and boot from the spark plug.

Your first step is to lift up the mower’s rear shield and remove the grass bag and frame.

Now support the shield and remove the mounting screw securing the battery and fuse housing.

If applicable, peel off the sealing tape.

Slide the housing out to access the fuse and pull the old fuse out.

Install the new fuse by carefully inserting it into the housing.

Slide the housing back into place.

If applicable, replace the sealing tape. Otherwise, you can use duct tape to seal the compartment.
9
Replace the mounting screw.

Remove the rear shield support set the grass bag and frame into place and reattach the spark plug wire and boot.
