Step By Step Instructions

Before you begin the replacement, make sure the engine has cooled remove the wire and boot from the spark plug and turn off the fuel valve.

Your first step is to remove the wingnut to release the air filter cover and pull the cover off.

Now slide the old pre-filter off of the air filter if it’s still intact.

Install the new pre-filter by sliding it over the air filter.

Reposition the cover and secure the wingnut.

You can now turn the fuel valve back on and reattach the spark plug wire and boot.
