Step-By-Step Instructions1
Before you begin this repair, make sure the engine has cooled remove the wire and boot from the spark plug and turn off the fuel valve.

Your first step is to remove the screws securing the control panel and pull the panel off.

Next, use pliers to squeeze the tabs to detach the old switch assembly from the panel. You’re now ready to install the new rocker switch.

Note the old switch’s orientation then transfer the wires from the old component to the new one.

Snap the new switch into place.

Realign the control panel and secure it with the screws.

With the new switch in place, you can now turn the fuel valve back on and reattach the spark plug wire and boot.
