Step By Step Instructions

Before you begin this repair, make sure the engine has cooled remove the snowblower’s start key from the ignition and perform the procedure with little or no gasoline in the tank.

To replace the fuel line, your first step is to remove the gas tank cap.

Next, remove the screws at the front of the main cover and at the rear and pull the main cover off.

Now remove the screw to detach the starter button housing.

Remove the nuts securing the carburetor and cover and pull the cover free.

Next, release the spring clamp securing the fuel line to the carburetor and pull the fuel line off.

Now remove the screws on the carburetor side to release the gas tank bracket.

Remove the screw on the opposite side and lift the gas tank up.

Release the spring clamp and remove the old fuel line.

Now loosen and remove the filter from the gas tank.

Prepare the new fuel line and filters for installation by positioning the spring clamps on the ends of the tubes and attaching each tube to the ports on the fuel line filter.

Now thread the new tank filter into place.

Route the longer end of the new fuel line through the bracket and tube shield. and secure it to the gas tank.

Reposition the gas tank and secure it with the bracket and screws.

Attach the shorter end of the new fuel line to the carburetor and secure it with the spring clamp.

Reposition the carburetor cover and secure the nuts.

Replace the starter button housing and secure the screw.

Reposition the main cover and secure it with the screws at the front and at the rear.

Replace the gas tank cap.

With the new fuel line installed you can now return the start key to the ignition.
