Step By Step Instructions

Before beginning this procedure, be sure to remove the snowblower’s start key from the ignition.

To replace the ignition switch, your first step is to release the locking tab and detach the switch wire harness.

Next, depress the tabs on the sides of the ignition switch and pull the old switch out.

Install the new ignition switch by aligning it with the housing and snapping it into place.

Attach the wire harness.

With the new ignition switch installed you can now insert the new start key in the ignition.
