Step 1: Unthread the retaining knob screw to release the throttle control from the blower tube clamp.

Step 2: Use a T-27 Torx bit to unthread the four screws securing the two halves of the throttle control.

Step 3: Lift off the right half.

Step 4: Lift out the trigger and detach the throttle cable.

Step 5: Unthread the mounting screw to release the old lock lever.

"Step 6: Before installing the new throttle lock lever, confirm the control cam and nut are in place. "

Step 7: Align the notch in the lever with the tab on the cam.

Step 8: Thread and tighten the mounting screw.
