Step 2: Perform this procedure with little or no fuel in the tank.

Step 3: Use a T-27 Torx bit to unthread the four screws securing the starter.

Step 4: Remove the wire and boot from the spark plug.

Step 5: Unthread the five screws securing the engine cover.

Step 6: Pry off the cover which might require some effort.

Step 7: Set the leaf blower on its side.

Step 8: Unthread the four screws securing the fuel tank retainer.

Step 9: Set the fuel tank retainer aside.

Step 10: Unthread the screw securing the ignition coil cover.

Step 11: Detach the cover.

"Step 12: Lift the wire out, and if still intact, remove the old grommet. "

Step 13: Install the new ignition coil grommet by sliding it onto the wires then position it in the housing.
